Library Media Specialist
I am very excited to be entering my fifth year in the Nettleton School District! I am the library media specialist at Fox Meadow Elementary.
Prior to becoming a library media specialist at Fox Meadow Elementary, I held a variety of positions in the field of education. For two years, I served as an athletic academic advisor for the Arkansas Razorbacks. I then spent a year as a life skills coordinator for the University of Memphis Athletic Department. In 2009, I decided to make a career change and leave the world of college athletics for teaching. I worked for one year as an assistant in the Nettleton special education office before entering a non-traditional teaching licensure program. For six years, I taught English at Valley View Junior High School before coming to Fox Meadow Elementary.
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Matt, since June of 2013. We are excited to be welcoming a set of twin girls in September 2020.
When I am not teaching, my favorite hobbies include reading and running races. Travel is my other great passion. I want to visit every state and continent. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
